Hi, there! I am Hank. I am a 3 years old Blenheim boy, who is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. I came into rescue due to a family move, and my foster mom has been helping me with my manners. I am learning basic obedience, I am reliably house broken, and I am working hard at settling when she leaves. I would really love a home where my people are home most of the time and I can follow them around and gaze lovingly at them.

Since coming into rescue, I had dental surgery and despite my young age I lost several teeth. My new family will need to stay on top of brushing my teeth every day so the rest can stay clean and healthy.

I came from a house with children and other dogs, and I enjoy both. I do get a little excited, so my new family will need to show me what is appropriate and what isn’t. I’m young and still learning! I like my foster dog brothers, and they tolerate me. I would love a home with other friendly dogs, but I do not need them. My foster mom has cats and a bird, and I am a little too interested in both. The cats that ignore me are fine, but the cats that run and the bird that flies are too much excitement for me, and I should not be left alone with them.

I am dog door trained. I haven’t had an accident in my foster mom’s house because I can go out into the fenced yard whenever I want. I am also very reliable to potty on my walks, if that is what is easier for my new family. I am crated when my foster mom is gone from home because of my overzealous nature with the cats, but I can be trusted to be out unattended with someone home. I am a bit of an escape artist, so a securely fenced yard and doors that shut securely are a must.

While in rescue, I have been on a weight loss journey with my foster mom, and I need a new family that will keep up my exercise and watch my calories so I do not backslide. I love walks, and I am used to 3-5 miles a day. My foster mom wakes up very early so we can do 3 miles in the morning. It’s great to be out that early because not a lot distracts me in the dark. Daytime walks are very exciting because all the woodland creatures want me to chase them.

Bella in Summerville, SC

Here is Bella with her new family…

Please meet Bella. She is an absolute sweetheart! She’s a healthy, 9-year-old Blenheim girl born on February 10, 2017. She’s up to date on all her shots and has a healthy heart. She recently had her dental cleaning and had no extractions. She is spayed and microchipped. She is a petite pup at 14 lbs.

Bella has a potty-time habit of eating her poop. In foster care, she has been making progress with correcting this habit. Telling her no, leave it , and rewarding her with a treat and lots of praise has helped her get better about this. Bella is a lover of food, car rides, and walks. She loves her food so much that she eats very quickly. She will need a slow feed bowl for all meals. She is a submissive cuddle bug who loves to nap close to her family. Bella is a quiet, social butterfly. She likes to meet new people and other dogs. She loves everyone she meets and gets along with cats, too.

Bella came to Cavalier Rescue USA when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Bella is looking for a wonderful home to spend her golden years in. One that is calm, relaxing, and devoted to loving her. For Bella to live her best life, she should have low alone time. Echo in NYC, NY

Echo is a 4-year-old Blenheim Cavalier born 01/06/2022. This boy has a huge heart, an even bigger personality, and absolutely no concern for personal space — which, as any Cavalier lover knows, is part of the breed standard!

Echo came into rescue after his family experienced life changes and could no longer give him the time and attention he deserves. He’s now searching for a forever family who will spoil him just enough…or a lot.

Echo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Echo has a seizure disorder and is currently managed on two medications. The goal of medications is to reduce frequency of seizures but his future family should be prepared for appropriate medical management and possible future seizures.

He also has an adorable little quirky walk from time to time. X-rays confirmed he’s structurally sound. We like to think it’s just part of his signature style. He is currently murmur free! He has a little plaque and will need a dental in the next year or so.

While Echo gets along with other dogs and he has done well with both older children and toddlers.

Echo is sweet, playful, and incredibly affectionate. His favorite place is wherever his people are — on your lap, beside you, or following you from room to room to ensure you don’t accidentally get lonely. He loves playing with his toys and will happily recruit you for a game whenever the mood strikes.

Echo has a little separation anxiety and may voice a brief objection when you leave, but he settles down quickly. He sleeps peacefully in his crate, although he’d gladly accept a promotion to the big bed if one becomes available.

At 30 pounds, Echo is a “full-sized” Cavalier with surprisingly sophisticated taste buds. He politely declines most treats but enthusiastically accepts liver treats and cream cheese (the only acceptable way to disguise his medication). His veterinarian recommends he lose about 5 pounds, and for his wellbeing, it is important his future family are committed to helping him achieve this goal.

Echo loves his daily walks and gets so excited when his leash comes out that he spins in happy circles. He greets everyone he meets like a long-lost friend and firmly believes the world is full of people who have been waiting all day to meet him. Because he loves being with his people, he’d do best in a home where someone is around for much of the day.

If you’re looking for a funny, loyal companion who will keep you company, make you laugh, happily supervise all of your daily activities, and remind you that privacy is overrated, Echo may be your perfect match!
