Help give Buster the gift of Sight
Meet Buster, a dapper Blenheim boy with a clear love for people but very cloudy vision. When Buster met with an ophthalmologist upon recommendation of our vet, we were told that Buster has severe cataracts in both eyes. This means that Buster sees only shadows and has red irritated eyes from the cataracts, so this poor pup is very uncomfortable.

The ophthalmologist recommends Buster have the cataracts removed in both eyes. Although this is an expensive surgery, the prognosis for Buster is very favorable. About 95% of dogs that have cataract surgery experience significantly improved vision. If Buster doesn’t get this important surgery, he will likely develop glaucoma which is painful and often leads to removal of the eyes.

With your help, we can get Buster the cataract surgery he needs so he can have his eyesight restored. His limited vision makes him anxious when he is outside or when he doesn’t know the exact location of his foster family or foster dog siblings. Navigating stairs and seeing at night is extremely difficult for Buster. During his time in foster care, Buster has learned the placement of the furniture in his foster home. While he is uncomfortable due to his eyes, he has a happy, loving disposition, and offers kisses to everyone he meets.

We can help Buster vastly improve his vision and his quality of life, but we need your help. The cost for the cataract surgery in both eyes is estimated to total $6,000. Every donation, big or small, will bring Buster closer to clearer vision and open his world up tremendously. Click on the Donate link to help Buster… Donate
