Update-Please help Lucky! ❤️

Update: Lucky has just had the surgery he needed to remove his shattered leg. He is recovering quite well. Our heartfelt thanks to those of you who helped with his veterinary costs.

Lucky is a happy little boy and getting accustomed to having 3 legs.

Original post: Please help Lucky! This precious young boy was found as a stray with a badly mangled leg. He was taken to the ER and the vets there said it looked like he had been hit by a car a few weeks ago.

Despite being in tremendous pain, his tail still thumps and his sweet nature shines through. We have named him Lucky as the vets said he was very lucky to be alive.

Lucky is now on painkillers, which helps. He will need to have surgery to amputate his severely injured leg soon though. Once he recovers from surgery, he should do great after he gets used to having 3 legs.
